Hot Honey Pork Roast

Hot Honey Pork Roast

Ingredients:

  • 2lb pork loin roast
  • 3 tbsp Second City sweet rub
  • 1/4 cup hot honey
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 tsp dried rosemary
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth

Directions:

  1. In a medium sized bowl, add hot honey, garlic, thyme, rosemary, sesame seeds, and soy sauce. Mix well.
  2. Season the pork loin roast with Second City. Place on a rack in a foil pan, so it is lifted from the bottom. Glaze the pork with the sauce, saving a little to the side for later. Add chicken broth to the bottom of the foil pan.
  3. Roast the pork on a smoker at 350F for about an hour, or until internal temperature reaches 145F.
  4. Remove the pork and slice into big cubes. Toss in the remaining sauce from earlier. Serve with a side of white rice and enjoy!
