Hangover Soup

Ingredients:

  • 4 strips bacon, chopped
  • 2 pork chops, chopped
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 1/2 cups crushed tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 4 celery stalks, chopped
  • 2 carrots, chopped
  • 3 cups potatoes, cubed
  • 1/2 cup Polish sausage, chopped
  • 1 cup pickles, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • Fire & Smoke BBQ Company Shiitake steak rub
  • Fire & Smoke BBQ Company The Classic all purpose seasoning

 

Directions:

  • In a soup pot, cook bacon and pork. Remove meat and sauté onions.
  • Add 4 1/2 cups water to onions and add the bacon and pork back in. Add crushed tomatoes, mushrooms, celery, carrots, and The Classic seasoning. Cook for 15 minutes.
  • Next, add potatoes, sauces and Shiitake rub and cook for another 15 minutes. Then add pickles and garlic and boil for 10 minutes.
  • Serve and enjoy!
